Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of teacher learning quality improvement at the Babul Huda Islamic Boarding School Foundation in Jaya District, Aceh Jaya Regency. The main focus of this research is to determine the strategies, implementation, and obstacles faced in efforts to improve teacher competency and performance to enhance the quality of the learning process. The methodology used in this study is a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, in-depth interviews with the principal, teachers, and foundation administrators, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that learning quality improvement management is implemented through several strategies, including internal teacher training, regular academic supervision, learning evaluation, and motivation and rewards. However, several obstacles were identified, such as budget constraints, lack of access to external training, and a lack of technology-based learning support facilities. This study emphasizes the importance of the foundation's leadership in managing quality improvement programs in a sustainable and structured manner. Collaboration between the foundation, local government, and other educational institutions is needed to create a more effective and innovative learning environment in Islamic boarding schools.
